LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 

The directors of the club will interact with each student based on his/her level/knowledge in the Arabic Language.

By the end of this 8 week session, all students will:
  • Know the pronunciation of the Arabic Alphabet.
  • Know the days of the week, months of the year, the time and the dates.
  • Know the numbers.
  • Know how to name places
  • Know the daily conversation: words, simple sentences, compound sentences.
  • Be more familiar with Arabic grammar
By the end of this 8 week session, advance students will:
  • Write a mini story.
  • Will carry on a conversation fluently.

COURSE OUTLINE:


Week 1
·          Arabic alphabet pronunciation.
·         Writing and phonetic of basic words in Arabic
Week 2

·         Arabic alphabet pronunciation.
·     Numbers 
Week 3
·         The time and the dates
·         Days of the week.
Week 4
·         Pronouns, nouns, verbs.
·         Vocabulary of the day
Week 5
·         Pronouns, nouns, verbs in simple sentences of daily conversation.
·         Vocabulary of the day
Week 6
·         Conversation and dialogue
·         Vocabulary of the day
Week 7
·         Writing a story
·         Vocabulary of the day
Week 8
·         Game afternoon for review


COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • KG and up are welcome 
  • Student must be picked up at 4:45 from classroom
  • Materials will be provided by the teachers 
  • Pictures/videos during the club will be taken may be posted online
